Welp, it's not every day we get to design a cartoon mascot for a SUPER BOWL commercial... But hey, here we are! SCHEELS Marketing created a heckin' awesome piece of work for this year's (Feb. 2o22) game, and I played just a small part in this creative collaboration. But, it's something that will definitely stand out when you see it. I am so honored that my character art will be out there for millions to view on game day!
I thought it would be cool to show some of our creative process, and once the commercial is online, I will definitely show that too! Scroll down to see some cute doodle faces...

BELOW: These where I started! As the mascot character artist, my goal was to create something clean and simple, giving the feeling of a "tough, yet cute" football icon. The art director showed me a few examples and what he was looking for - and I took it from there to make these 3 ideas below. Aw, just look at that 'doodle' face!
