In 2019, I illustrated this whimsical Santa Claus illustration for use on Christmas Gift cards... a super fun collaboration at SCHEELS, between me, the marketing art director and in-store display team. We were inspired by mid-century cartoons for the aesthetic, and the cute little plane resembles life-size ones that are hanging from ceilings in our stores. He has been well-loved and used frequently in the last few holidays, and each year, we've added on more to his little mid-mod world...
